Convenient Location: Just a 1-Minute Walk from Kokusai Street

JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Naha is conveniently situated near Miebashi Station on the Yui Rail in Naha City, Okinawa, and just a 1-minute walk from Kokusai Street.

The surrounding area is bustling with restaurants and shops, making it a convenient location.

The hotel is an impressive 13-story building with distinctive curved corners. Kokusai Street is right nearby and visible from the hotel.

Superior Twin Room with High-Floor Views: A Detailed Look

This time, I booked a “Superior Twin Room.”

As a member of JR Hotel Members, I was upgraded to a high-floor room with a great view during check-in. (I recall becoming a member during a stay at Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel.)

Upon entering the room, the bathroom is on the right, the closet on the left, and the bedroom straight ahead.

The bed is positioned at the front, while a sofa set is placed by the window at the back.

Although it was a twin room, the two 160cm-wide beds were pushed together.

In front of the bed is a built-in shelf that holds a wall-mounted TV, a refrigerator, and glasses.

There is a bedside lighting control panel, which conveniently includes USB charging ports and power outlets.

Pressing the PUSH button reveals the bedside lamp.

The sofa by the window includes a built-in sofa and a movable one. The built-in sofa’s height was too low for working on a laptop at the table, but it was perfectly comfortable for relaxing.

Tropical-style cushions (possibly hibiscus design).

On the shelf housing the refrigerator, there was an electric kettle, complimentary mineral water, and cups.

The drawer contained hotel information and a laundry service request form.

The refrigerator was empty, with no minibar. Instead, there is a vending machine corner in the shared area.

A phone and a notepad were also provided.

An air purifier was also available.

A view of the entrance from the room side.

One side had a large movable door that opened to reveal a full-sized closet.

Due to the narrow design of the closet, the hanger rod was positioned perpendicular to the wall.

Next to the closet was a shelf of the same size.

The drawer housed a safety box.

The walls featured beige and gray wallpaper, creating a calm and sophisticated atmosphere.

The flooring consisted of gray tiles and wooden planks.

A magnetic sign was affixed to the entrance door.

The floor plan of the 10th floor, where I stayed. The rooms in the curved corner sections are larger than average.

Stunning City Views from the Room

My room was on the 10th floor, a high floor with a stunning view.

The south-facing room offered a panoramic view of Naha’s city center.

Bathroom Features: Functional and Comfortable

Let’s take a look at the bathroom area.

The washroom and toilet were in the same space, with the bathroom located next to them.

The toilet was equipped with a bidet function.

The bathroom was a unit bath, similar to those found in apartments. While it lacked luxury, it was functional and comfortable.

The shampoo and body soap were provided in refillable bottles.

The hairdryer was Panasonic-made, with average airflow strength.

Simple-designed sleepwear.

Exploring the Entrance and Okinawan-Style Design

Let me introduce the hotel’s exterior and entrance.

The building featured distinctive curved corners. On the first floor was the renowned “37 Steakhouse & Bar.”

The entrance facing the street was designed with an Okinawan flair, featuring an orange tile roof and Shisa statues.

Upon entering, turning left leads to the hotel’s main entrance.

Turning right from the entrance takes you to the restaurant’s entrance (“37 Steakhouse & Bar”).

Passing through the entrance into the lobby revealed a spacious area with high ceilings.

There were ample sofa seating areas and workspaces.

The large windows added brightness, creating an open and inviting entrance space.

The check-in counter was right in front of the entrance hall, and I proceeded with the check-in process.

I was directed to use a machine for self-check-in.

Next to the check-in counter, there was another spacious sofa area.

The table surface displayed Ryukyu glass.

After check-in, I could take my preferred amenities from the amenity station.

Shared Facilities: Library Lounge, Terrace, and More

I headed to the 10th floor, my accommodation floor.

The second floor features a multipurpose room, floors 3 to 12 house guest rooms, and the 13th floor has a library lounge and a relaxation salon.

The hallway lighting was dim, creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere.

There is a vending machine corner on the 7th floor.

On the 11th floor, there was a coin laundry. I tried it out, and it was very convenient with automatic detergent dispensing and a dryer.

Top-Floor Library and Terrace: Relax with a View

The 13th floor features a library lounge, which guests can freely use.

Being on the top floor, the library lounge offered great views and a relaxing atmosphere.

Complimentary coffee was also available.

The library connects to a terrace, where guests can also enjoy the view.

Accommodation Price: Is It Worth It?

・The price of the hotel varies significantly depending on the season or day of the week. A one-day difference can result in a price change of several thousand yen.

・The cost of my stay at JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Naha was approximately 12,000 yen per night (including tax).

As a free member of JR Hotel Members, I enjoyed benefits like a high-floor upgrade and late checkout (12:00), making the stay even more rewarding.
