When I went on a trip to Okinawa, I stayed at “Hotel Grand Consort Naha” and I’d like to share a review of my stay.
The “Hotel Grand Consort Naha” is located a 5-minute walk from Kencho-mae Station, a station on the Yui Rail, and also just a 3-minute walk from Kokusai-dori Street, a famous tourist spot in Okinawa, making it a hotel in an excellent location.
This time, staying at “Hotel Grand Consort Naha,” I was particularly impressed by the following three points.
- Conveniently located near the Yui Rail station
- Within walking distance from Kokusai-dori Street, an excellent location
- A clean hotel with excellent facilities
In this lodging report, I would like to focus on conveying the atmosphere of the hotel primarily through photographs.

3-Minute Walk to Kokusai-Dori Street – Prime Location
“Hotel Gran Consort Naha” is located a 5-minute walk from Kencho-mae Station, a Yui Rail station, and is also just a 3-minute walk from Kokusai-dori Street, a famous tourist destination in Okinawa.
The photo below is taken from the scramble crossing in front of the prefectural office. The road on the left is Kokusai-dori Street, and right here is where Kokusai-dori Street begins. You can see “Hotel Gran Consort Naha” towards the back on the right side of the road.

Introducing the Guest Room (Standard Double)
This time, we stayed in the most affordable room, the “Standard Double.” It is a compact guest room of about 16 to 18 square meters.
When I entered the room, there was a bathroom on the right side and an open-type closet on the left.
In the bedroom at the back of the room, there was a bed and a sofa.
The room had a calm ambiance with its gray-toned wallpaper and dark wood colors.
This is a Simmons bed that is 1,400mm wide. It was big enough for one person to sleep in.
The bedside lighting controls and outlets were also well-equipped and convenient. There are also two USB power outlets.
You can set displays such as “Do not disturb” or “Make up room” from the bedside.
There was a sofa next to the bed.
There is a table, but it’s small and not suitable for working on a computer. The only drawback of this room is that there is no workspace.
On the shelf next to the sofa, there were free mineral water, tissues, a telephone, and other items placed.
In the top drawer, there were notepads and laundry bags.
In the middle drawer, there were cups and an ice bucket placed. The ice machine is on the first floor.
In the lower drawer, there was an electric kettle.
There is also a refrigerator.
Next to the sofa, there was a Panasonic air purifier with a humidifier.
It is an open-type closet next to the entrance. There are many hangers, and despite being compact, it has a large storage capacity. Deodorant spray was also placed there.
Under the closet, there were a safety deposit box, disposable slippers, and a foldable suitcase rack.
This is the hotel guide I received at check-in.
The list of items for loan was clear and easy to understand.
The walls were covered with wallpaper in a gray tone, featuring abstract patterns.
The floors were gray tiles in the entrance and bathroom, and the bedroom had a dark gray carpet with a gradient. The overall atmosphere was calm, with monotone (sepia) tones.
This is the floor plan of the 4th floor where we stayed. The room I stayed in this time was adjacent to the neighboring building, so all I could see from the window was the wall of the next building. It seems that rooms on the road side have a spacious view.
Exploring Bathroom Designs
When you enter the bathroom, on the right side there is a washbasin, directly ahead there is a toilet, and on the left side, separated by glass, there was a unit bath.
The sink was spacious and easy to use.
As amenities, there were toothbrushes, body towels, and bath salts provided.
The hair dryer found under the washbasin was made by Panasonic, and its airflow was “normal.”
The toilet was comfortable with a bidet function.
The unit bath was clean. The bathtub is on the small side.
The shampoo and body soap were in refillable bottles.
Introducing the Entrance
We will take a look at the hotel’s entrance.
When you enter the entrance, there is a check-in counter right in front.
There was a sofa placed in front of the check-in counter, creating a small waiting area.
Pass by the check-in counter and head towards the guest room elevator.
This is the elevator hall on the first floor. There were two elevators. There is a laundry and vending machine corner further inside.
Exploring Common Areas
After checking in, we headed to the 4th floor, where the guest rooms are located, using the elevator.
On the first floor, there is a front desk, vending machines, and laundry facilities, and on the second floor, there is a lounge. Floors 3 to 15 were guest room floors.
This is the elevator hall and hallway on the 4th floor. The carpet had a blue gradient, and the walls were a dark beige, creating a calm atmosphere.
The sign with the room number in front of the guest room was illuminated, and signs such as “Do not disturb” were also lit up.
On the second floor, there was a lounge where staying guests could use for free during tea time (from 12:00 to 17:00, 19:00 to 22:00).
The lounge was spacious and had quite a few seats. The room’s TV was set up to show the congestion situation in the lounge.
Coffee and tea are available for free.
On the first floor, there was a room equipped with a laundry, vending machines, an ice maker, and a microwave.
What Are the Current Hotel Prices?
・Hotel prices vary significantly depending on the time (season and day of the week). It is quite common for the price to differ by several thousand yen just by shifting the date by one day.
・The cost of my stay at the “Hotel Gran Consort Naha” was about 12,000 yen (including tax) per night. Hotel prices in Japan have been soaring recently, so they are likely even higher now.
