Prime Location Across from Yui Rail Miebashi Station
“HOTEL STRATA NAHA” is located right in front of Yui Rail Miebashi Station.
The following photo was taken from the platform of Yui Rail Miebashi Station. The tall building right in front is “HOTEL STRATA NAHA.” Its location is truly convenient.
Introducing the Guest Room (Double Room)
This time, I chose the “Double Room,” which is the most compact room type at “HOTEL STRATA NAHA.”
The room had a calming atmosphere with white walls and wooden custom-made furniture that stood out beautifully.
Toward the back of the room, there was a larger-than-average bed (140 cm) and a single-seater sofa.
The ceiling height was notably high, making the room feel more spacious than its actual size.
Here’s the view of the entire room from the window side.
The lighting hanging above the sofa set was stylish. With ample use of indirect lighting, the space felt very relaxing.
The bed board had a pleasant texture and was made of high-quality wood.
A long, simple shelf was located next to the entrance, with only minimal items placed on it.
On the shelf were a telephone, notepad, small container, Bluetooth speaker, compact espresso machine, and bottled water.
The Nespresso machine came with two coffee capsules.
Inside the drawer were Nespresso capsules and glassware.
The lower drawer housed an electric kettle. It was a stylish kettle from the brand “Russell Hobbs,” designed for easy pouring.
Other drawers served as a safe.
Behind the shelf doors was a refrigerator, which was empty without a minibar. (A vending machine room is available in the shared areas.)
Next to the shelf were a low chair and a trash bin. All furniture maintained a consistent color scheme and material, giving the room a clean and cohesive look.
The view from the window showcased Yui Rail Miebashi Station right in front and a sweeping view of Naha City in the distance.
Here’s the floor plan of the 9th floor where I stayed. Compact double rooms were located on the Yui Rail side (bottom of the diagram), while rooms twice the size were on the Kokusai Street side (top of the diagram).
The Uniquely Compact Washbasin Design
One surprising feature of the “Double Room” was the washbasin located right next to the entrance.
I had never seen a room layout like this before, so it was quite surprising. Having the washbasin inside the room is undoubtedly convenient and saves space. I thought it was a brilliant idea.
The washbasin, made of artificial marble, was adequately sized for single-person use.
The wall was recessed to create shelves for amenities, showcasing attention to design details throughout.
A Tour of the Bathroom
Let’s take a look at the bathroom. The double room has no bathtub, only a shower room. Upon opening the bathroom door, the toilet is on the right, and the shower room door is on the left.
The toilet came with a bidet and felt clean and hygienic.
The shower room, though a unit type, was fully tiled and had a luxurious feel. It also featured an overhead shower.
Stylish Details Inside the Guest Room
Here is the bedside control panel for adjusting the lighting. It also had USB ports for charging, and the bottom part featured ambient lighting. These panels were available on both sides of the bed.
The open-style hanger rack held hangers and a deodorizing spray.
The hangers were made of metal, matching the hanger rack’s style.
The magnetic signs had patterns that connected when aligned, which was an interesting detail.
The card key was made of wood instead of plastic, showing thoughtful attention to detail.
The pajamas were a two-piece set made of soft, comfortable fabric.
The floor was covered with a bluish beige carpet.
The walls were covered with simple white wallpaper.
Here is the hotel’s information card.
A Grand Welcome at the Entrance
The hotel is just a one-minute walk from Yui Rail Miebashi Station.
From the hotel entrance, you can see Yui Rail Miebashi Station right in front of you.
There was a well-designed car porch as well.
Entering the hotel, you could see the greenery of the courtyard through the lobby.
To the right of the entrance was the check-in counter, and to the left was a café.
The lobby had high ceilings, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere.
In the lobby, there were panels showcasing the hotel’s architecture.
After check-in, I headed to my room via the guest elevator.
There was a guide for each floor, indicating a gym on the second floor and a bar on the 15th floor.
The elevators had card key security for access.
The elevator hall on the guest floor featured red stucco-like walls. (Later, I found out that each floor had a different color inspired by geological layers.)
On the second floor, there was a room with vending machines, a microwave, and a washer-dryer.
There was also a fitness gym on the second floor.
Relaxing by the Pool
Exiting the entrance lobby toward the courtyard, you’ll find the pool.
The pool had an irregular shape, surrounded by greenery, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
There were also sofas facing the outdoor area.
Dining Delight at Café Strata
I tried lunch at “Café Strata,” which is attached to the hotel.
The café was accessible from both the outside and the hotel lobby.
The seating was spaciously arranged, allowing for a relaxing experience.
I ordered the “Galette” lunch set. It was very reasonably priced, with unlimited drinks and a variety of appetizers included.
I entered the café casually but was surprised by its high quality.
The café also had terrace seating, which looked very comfortable.
The café had an entrance facing the street, making it accessible directly from outside.
What Are the Room Rates Like?
・The hotel rates fluctuate significantly depending on the season and day of the week. Even a one-day difference can lead to a price change of several thousand yen.
・I stayed in the “Double Room” at “Hotel Strata Naha” for 7,200 yen per night (including tax). Hotel prices in Japan have been soaring recently, so they are likely even higher now.

“Hotel Strata Naha” is located right in front of Miebashi Station in the heart of Naha City, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.
Not only is it conveniently located, but it’s also a designer hotel with meticulous attention to detail, offering a level of comfort beyond that of an ordinary business hotel.
Next time, I’d love to try staying in a different type of room.
